1968. Boy I never imagined at that time that I would invent a fish
attractant that would be sold their some day.

I do not know how much you know
about the Bassing seen in this country, but one thing I can tell you that it is Great.
Some of our lakes produce many Bass in the 8lb class and it is not uncommon to catch bass
over 10 pounds, The country record has been broken every year for the past five years .
The current record stands at 6.05 kg which is around 13 pounds and many fish are caught
close to that weight . This is as a result of stocking ten years ago with Florida strain.
My personal best is 4.85 kg +- 9lb . In Gauteng province where I live some of the lakes are surrounded by game reserves and it is
not uncommon to see Crocodiles , hippos and other wild animals while fishing , last week I
saw a 15' python at a dam I was fishing. In Zimbabwe ( a neighboring state) you some times
even see Elephant and Lions. Our boats are much the same as your boats and we use the same
methods . We have Bass chapters affiliated to B.A.S.S. and we fish competitions during the
year to select a team to go fish the Central fish off in the US. Our top anglers regularly
compete in the wrangler tournament . A Zimbabwe angler (Jerry
Jooste) finished 15th last year on the Bass Classic in the US.
If you wish I can EMAIL you photos of some of the Bass I have caught and of some of our
lakes and dams. My bass boat is known in this country as a Dragon fly and is powered by a
115 intruder turning a 23pitch renegade prop . My top end is around 60 mph . The boat is
only 15' long and a little over powered but gets me to the hotspots quickly. Cheers for
