November of 1999, Lake Huites Mexico. Gerry nailed this two digit hog on a 14 inch worm he had soaked in a bag filled with Kick'n BassŪ garlic. If it had been weighted on a good digital scale Gerry might have claimed the new lake record. The scale Gerry used was off by about 50 pounds and being that Huites is a catch and release we can only speculate that the fish may have broke the current 12# record. Either way he followed it up with a string of big bass to prove it wasn't just an accident. Good job Gerry and next year we will have a good scale.
